I remember seeing my grandfather creating art in all its forms for as long as I can recall. There was never a pause in ideation, planning, imagination, or action…
Later, I understood that my grandfather wasn’t just making art—he lived with art. Every step he took carried a strict artistic commitment. His greatest masterpiece was his life, his story, his legacy.
Since then, I cannot perceive reality through any lens other than beauty and art. It fuels my being.
Both he and my grandmother, may they rest in peace, gave me everything. Their upbringing laid the foundation for who I am today and who I aspire to become—just like Guardamar, my origin. This is my way of giving back to them and to my hometown, offering a life, a legacy. This is how I move forward—just as they do, into other lives—with gratitude.
