It is an honor to present my first designed typography. Own and independent creation.
We are a generation that uses typography every day. It's everywhere. Every day we write. Every day we consume. But many times we do not connect with these. It's not even a residual thought. We just write that message and that's it.
We could talk for decades about the importance of typography in design. Now I'm just ready to contribute my grain.
KAMTICA is a typeface that combines geometric, straight and curved shapes. A typeface associated with those that emerged after the industrial revolution with a grotesque nature or Swiss international design. But it is inspired by the cement and glass shapes of the city and my now. Of those curves and straight lines of the corners and alleys, of the squares of my past.
KAMTICA is now, but it is my then.
