Tactile Realms is an interactive audiovisual installation built with TouchDesigner and controlled via a MIDI controller. Using buttons, faders, and knobs, users can trigger, blend, and transform multiple layers of visuals in real time—switching backgrounds, animating abstract forms, and modulating movement and scale with touch.
The setup turns the MIDI device into a live visual instrument, where touch becomes image and the viewer becomes a performer. Each interaction creates a fluid, generative composition that is both intuitive and dynamic.
The installation was presented during the final day of the Jardín Secreto Festival in Murcia, where visitors were invited to engage freely with the piece—exploring the connection between body, motion, and generative image in an immersive and contemplative setting.
